Conditional block visibility

Conditional blocks let you control whether a block is shown or hidden based on simple visibility rules.

Set up a conditional block:


1. Click the block you want to control
2. Open the Visibility section in the right-hand sidebar

3. Choose whether the rule should Show or Hide the block

4. Select the condition you want to use

The available options can include:


• Always
The block is always shown or hidden.


• Is signed in
The block is shown or hidden based on whether the visitor is currently signed in.


• Is signed out
The block is shown or hidden based on whether the visitor is currently signed out.


• Has Joined
Available on pages with a join/start action. This checks whether the member has joined that page.


• For segment
Shows or hides the block for members in selected segments. When this option is chosen, you can click Manage to select the segment or segments you want to use.


Showing or hiding content by segment

  1. Select the block you want to target

  2. Open the Visibility option in the right-hand sidebar

  3. Set the block to show only for members in a specific segment



Example: A testimonial block set to hide for members who have made a purchase. Only members who haven't yet made a purchase will see this block .
