We're thrilled to introduce our Internationalisation feature, enabling creators and members to choose the language they see the app’s core user interface and notifications in. This ensures a truly personalised and inclusive experience for international communities!
What's New:
Multilingual UI: My content, account details, settings, and built-in features are translated into the chosen language, reflecting your preferences.
Translated Notifications: Enjoy email & push alerts, including event reminders and message notifications, in your selected language.
Here’s how it works:
For Creators:
In the Movement admin, navigate to your Global App Settings by clicking on your App’s name at the top of the lefthand sidebar.
Expand the ‘Language’ section and then select from the currently supported languages (English, Arabic, Spanish, Norwegian, Dutch, French, German, Polish, Swedish, Portuguese) in the ‘Default Language’ dropdown.
Hit ‘Save & Publish’, and the core UI of your app, emails and push notifications, will default to the language you have selected.
For Members:
Log in to the app and navigate to your ‘Account’ section, then click ‘Account Details’.
Under ‘Your Details’ click ‘Language’, select your Language of choice, then hit the ‘Update Language’ button.
If the selected language is different to the default language the creator has set for the app, it will override that setting, and the user will see the core UI, emails and notifications in the language they have selected.
