How to Set Up Supersets with Movement's Workout Builder

Supersets involve pairing two or more exercises that are performed consecutively with no rest between exercises. Here’s a step-by-step guide based on the provided example:

Step 1: Open the Workout Builder

Navigate to the workout builder in the Movement platform. Select or create a new workout where you’ll add your supersets.

Step 2: Create a Group for the Superset

  • Add a new group to the workout and label it appropriately (e.g., "Superset").

  • Ensure the group type is set to “Circuit”. This setup ensures all exercises within the group are performed consecutively as intended in a superset format.

Step 3: Add Exercises to the Superset

  • Add the desired exercises to the group. For example:

    • Cross Body Crunches with a set of 8 reps.

    • Toe Taps with a set of 8 reps.

  • Adjust the number of reps, sets, or intensity for each exercise to match your workout goals.

Step 4: Configure Rest Between Sets

  • Insert a rest period at the end of the superset group (after the last exercise in the superset). In the provided example, a 30-second rest is included after both exercises are completed.

  • This rest period helps users recover before starting the next round of the superset.

Step 5: Review and Save

  • Review the setup to ensure the exercises, rest periods, and repetitions align with your programming intent.

  • Save the workout and preview it to verify that the sequence appears as expected.

This setup works seamlessly to create engaging and dynamic workouts. Try it out today and take your fitness programming to the next level!
