Navigation and Access in Your App

Members can navigate to pages included in your Main Navigation or Sidebar Navigation, and will be able to access and view the content on these pages as long as they have the necessary access.

💡 Note: Your Navigation pages (inside the purple square in the above image) can be navigated to by members of your app.

Pages in the 'App Pages' section or created as specific content types (e.g. programs, workouts, articles) must be linked from these navigation pages or shared directly with members to be accessible.

Sharing vs. Assigning:

  • Sharing: You can share any page with as few or as many members as you like, and it will appear in their 'Shared With Me' section for easy access, even if not listed in, or linked to from your navigation pages.

  • Assigning: For exclusive content, set pages to 'Private' access and assign them to specific members. This ensures that only assigned members have permission to view the content, and also populates the 'Shared With Me' section in their account area, similar to sharing. This feature is ideal for 1:1 coaching or exclusive content.

Sharing Content with Members

  1. Accessing the Share Function:

To share content with a member, navigate to the desired page or content.

Click the 'Share' button, then select 'Share with a member'. Here, you can view and manage who the content is shared with

2. Member View:

Shared content will appear in the 'Shared With Me' section of the member's account area, ensuring they have easy access to the material you've provided.

💡 Note: Both Shared and Assigned content will populate the “Shared With Me’ area. Content that is set to private access will remain locked though unless it is assigned (not just shared) with the member.

Assigning Private Access

  1. Setting Up Private Content:

For content intended for specific members, or a specific group you can set the access rules to 'Private'. This ensures that only assigned members can access the content.

2. Assigning Members:

From the access settings of the page, click 'Manage Members', and then the 'Assign' button.

  • Search for the member by name or email, click 'Add' next to their name, and finalise by clicking 'Done'.

  • You can add as many members as you like in this step

💡 Note: It's crucial to note that even if a page is shared, members need to be assigned explicitly if the access is set to 'Private'.

3. Notification and Access:

You can click the 'Notify’ button that will instantly send your new member an email notifying them of their access.

Assigned members will also see the content in their 'Shared With Me' section, much like shared content.
