Scheduling
Updated over 3 weeks ago

Movement’s inbuilt scheduling feature allows creators to easily schedule a page or piece of content for their members. Members will receive email alerts 24 hours prior to the content's scheduled time, followed by push notifications 15 minutes beforehand, and also when it is time to start. If push notifications are disabled, email notifications will be sent instead.

Scheduling a page

To get started expand the 'Schedule' section in the righthand sidebar of a page or piece of content you’d like to schedule for your members, then hit the 'Schedule this page' button.

💡 Note: Legacy content items such as exercises, articles, meals and events cannot be directly added to the schedule. Instead, you can add them to a page and schedule the page.

Click on the 'Select Your Date' input field and choose the date/s you want to schedule the page/content for. You can also specify the time of day it is scheduled for by hitting the ‘Add Time’ button. Once everything is configured correctly hit the 'Save Schedule' button.

💡 Tip: Click and drag over your desired date range to select multiple dates. You can also optionally add a time by hitting the 'Add Time' button.

This page will now be scheduled in the global calendar of your app. It will be visible and accessible from the ‘My Schedule’ section for any member who has access to it. This accessed from a member’s account area, & is also accessible from the main navigation by default (unless you’ve removed it).

Test it out in your app by navigating to the date you’ve scheduled the page for. Any dates that have content scheduled in will appear with a coloured dot (your brand color) on them.

The scheduled content will appear with a lock on it in the calendar for members who aren't assigned to it if it is set to private, or for users who haven't purchased the product that unlocks it if it is set to 'Require Purchase'.
