Assessments
Updated over a month ago

Building on our existing forms functionality, our new 'Assessments' feature allows creators to develop graded quizzes, questionnaires and tests with ease, offering an engaging way to measure learning outcomes.

Create an Assessment with Forms

  1. Navigate to Create > Forms

  2. Create a new form or click to edit an existing one that you want to be able to add assessable questions to.

💡 Note: If you need a quick refresher on setting up forms, check out our forms article.

3. Add a Multi select field to the form.

4. Add an option to the multi select. You will notice a ✔️✔️ button next to each option you add.

💡 Note: Currently only Multi select response types can be used in assessments.

5. Make a particular option the correct answer by selecting the button next to it.

6. Once you have set up your multi select field(s) with the correct options and answers, its time to test the Assessment!

Triggering Assessments

  1. Assessments are an extension of our forms feature, which means activating an assessment for your members is just as straightforward as triggering any form. When you want to activate an assessment for users, you simply trigger the specific form that contains the assessment questions.

Submitting Assessments

  1. Once a member triggers a form containing assessment questions, they will be able to answers the questions in the form as per normal, then submit it when they are complete.

  2. After submitting the form, members will be taken to a ‘Results’ screen where they can view their grade, and which answers they got correct and incorrect.

  3. For each incorrect answer, the member will have the ability to click ‘View Correct answer’.

  4. From here members will be able to go back and revise their answers by dismissing this ‘The correct answer is:’ modal, then hitting the back button.

  5. They can then submit the form by hitting ‘Done’.

💡 Note: If a member submits the form multiple times, you will be able to view every submission in its correct order from the ‘Submissions’ tab of the member’s profile in the Engage > Members section of the admin.
