What Are Tags?

Tags are descriptive identifiers that you can attach to pages, programs, custom content types and legacy content types (articles, exercises, and meals). Think of them as digital sticky notes, grouping your content into easily searchable and accessible categories.

Tags can be specified in the settings of dynamic content blocks giving you control over what content populates the block. They can also be used to refine searches in Search Blocks . They are also useful for organising your content in the admin, allow you to filter your content libraries by tag, ensuring that the right content is always at your fingertips.

How to Add Tags

Pages, Programs, and Custom Content Types

To add tags to your pages, programs, and custom content types, simply navigate to the Tags section in the right-hand sidebar of the page / content you’d like to add tags to. Here, you can select from existing tags to add to the page.

You can also type to create a new tag to add to the page, then hit the ‘Create’ button.

Hit ‘Save & Publish’ and now the tag/s you have added or created will be added to the page / content.

Adding Tags to Legacy Content types

When editing legacy content types such as articles, exercises, and meals, look for the 'Article Tags', 'Exercise Tags', and 'Meal Tags' sections. Input your tags there to enhance the organisation of your content. Once you’re done, hit Save and this content will now be tagged with whatever tag/s you have selected or created.

Filtering content libraries by tag in the admin

Creators also have the ability to filter their content types by tag in the admin. The image below illustrates this functionality within the 'Meals' content library. By selecting a tag, only the content associated with that tag, such as all 'Lunch' meals , will be shown. This feature enables you to manage your content libraries with efficiency and ease, ensuring that the right content is always at your fingertips.
