Yes!
You can offer free trials for products with a purchase type set to 'Recurring', such as a subscription .
You can find your products by navigating to Sell > Products in the black lefthand sidebar of the Movement admin.
Click on an existing product (or create a new product) with a 'Recurring' purchase type. Then, navigate to the 'Details' tab where you see the dashboard for the Product on the righthand side of the admin.
Note: you will not see the Free Trial option it the product is set for 'One off' payment.
Assuming the above product setup above, this is what your users will see when they go to purchase the product in your app:
When a member signs up for a free trial of a subscription product, they must enter their payment details. These details are saved for automated billing after the trial period ends. When the trial is started, Stripe generates a $0 invoice visible in the "Sales" section of the "Sell" tab . After the trial, members are charged according to the set price for the upcoming billing period.
