Page Template Library
Updated over 3 weeks ago

Our template library offers hundreds of professionally designed pages with prearranged placeholder blocks. Easily add your own content, media and copy, and rearrange or delete blocks, to create a custom look and feel.

Accessing the Page Template Library

  1. In the Movement admin, navigate to the top of the white lefthand sidebar and hit the [+Create New] button.

  2. A dropdown menu will appear, listing various content types you can create pages from.

  3. From the dropdown menu, click [Page].

💡 Note: The template library will automatically display the most relevant templates for the content type you are creating the page from. For example, if you selected [Live Class] instead of [Page] from this dropdown, you will see templates specifically designed for Live Classes.

4. A modal will appear, where you will see the option to give the page a title (this can be done now or later).

5. Click the [Explore Template Library] button and you will be dropped into the template library.

Browsing and Choosing Templates

Once you are in the template library, you can browse through a variety of page templates categorised for different purposes. Here’s how to find and choose the template that best fits your needs:

  1. Browse by Category:
Use the left-hand sidebar to navigate through various template categories such as Libraries, Workouts, Events, Programs and more.

  2. Search for a Template:
You can also use the search bar at the top to find specific templates by typing relevant keywords.

  3. View Recommended Templates.
Depending on the content type you are creating, the category you have selected or your search terms, the template library will automatically display the most relevant templates for your use case first.

  4. Preview a Template.
If you hover over a template with your cursor you will see a [Preview] button appear. If you click this it will open a live working preview of the template so you can take a closer look and click around.

  5. Choose a Template. Once you have found a suitable page template for your needs, click [Choose] on the template you wish to use.

  6. Create the Page. After choosing a template, a ‘Create Page’ modal will appear. If you haven’t yet given your template a name, you can do so from here. Click [Create] and you will be dropped into the page builder where you can customise the template to fit your specific needs.

’Recent’ and ‘My Templates’.

At the top of the template library you will notice two other tabs, ’Recent’ and ‘My Templates’.

The ‘Recent’ tab will be populated by templates that are created from your most recently created pages, allowing for quick access to your latest designs.

The ‘My Templates’ section will be populated by pages you have saved as templates yourself, ensuring you can easily reuse and customise your favourite layouts.

Customizing Templates

Once you have chosen a template and are dropped into the page builder, you can add your own content , text or multimedia to the placeholder blocks provided in the template. You can also delete any blocks that you don’t need and add new ones to create a custom look and feel.
